Phil Good Drops Debut Music Video For “Be Somebody”

Portland-bred, LA-based Phil Good returns today to unveil the official music video for “Be Somebody.” The quirky, personality-driven visual is the first music video from Phil Good and gives viewers a glimmer into his weird and wonderful mind. Watch “Be Somebody” music video here.

Incorporating layered electronic production, soft indie vocals, dynamic instrumentals and left-of-center pop beats, Phil Good is carving out a sound of his own with each new release and challenging the rigid expectation that a musician should fit into any one genre.

Bursting onto the scene at the end of 2016 with his debut single “Sleeping In,” Phil Good has continued to prove himself with a string of intoxicating releases, such as “Growing Up,” “I Miss You,” “Better” and his brand new single “Be Somebody.” Albeit a fairly new artist, Phil Good has already accumulated millions of plays and landed a publishing deal with Pulse Music Group.

Phil Good’s unique pop sensibilities have also led to sessions with acts such as Cheat Codes, Lauv, Carlie Hanson, CADE, and Shallou, among others. A 2017 collaboration with K?D – “Lose Myself” – even hit #40 on the Billboard Dance Chart.

With more music, visuals and live shows on the way, Phil Good is only just getting started.
