Icelandic dream-pop trio Vök Release New Single “Night and Day”

Icelandic indie electronic dream-pop trio Vök just announced that they are releasing a new album in early 2019. In celebration, they dropped a a new track last week with Magnetic Magazine called “Night and Day” – listen here.

Based in Reykjavík, Vök first gained recognition after winning Iceland’s prestigious “Music Experiments” contest, a battle of the bands contest with past winners including Of Monsters and Men and Samaris. Their debut album Figure recently won Album of the Year in the Electronic Music category at the Icelandic Music Awards. The band has over 15 million streams to date, 200,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, and reached #1 on Hype Machine for their single “Breaking Bones”. They’ve toured with the likes of Goldfrapp and Asgeir, played festivals around the world, and have performed live with KEXP multiple times. They recently dropped their new single “Autopilot” with Noisey.
