Bloodshot Eyes marries simple 808s with a warm sea of twangy slide guitar, and lyricism that draws inspiration from the “current state of empathy in America”. The track weaves and swells, illustrating the futility of straining against the intangible, yet, whatever existential dread is produced on Bloodshot Eyes, the overwhelming sentiment is not melancholic, but hopeful.

Helenor’s debut LP something twice, is set for release later this year.
