SOCCER MOMMY SHARES REWORKED VERSION OF “HENRY”

Soccer Mommy – twenty-one year old Nashville native Sophie Allison – released her debut album Clean earlier this year to critical acclaim, and today she releases the A-side from her forthcoming 7-inch single. The track is a reworked version of “Henry,” a song that originally appeared on Soccer Mommy’s 2016 collection For Young Hearts on Orchid Tapes – listen to the song HERE. The previously released B-Side is a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “I’m On Fire,” a live show highlight and fan favorite that now has a long-awaited studio recording. Purchase the 7-inch, out October 19th via Fat Possum, HERE. The Red Smoke vinyl is already sold out, and the limited edition red vinyl can be purchased HERE.

Today Soccer Mommy also releases a limited edition pink vinyl of her debut LP Clean. The release is in partnership with Ten Bands One Cause, where ten artists re-issue their albums on limited edition pink vinyl to help raise cancer awareness and support Gilda’s Club NYC, an organization that provides community support for both those diagnosed with cancer and their caretakers. This campaign is now in its fifth year and has raised over $200,000. Purchase Cleanand support Gilda’s Club NYC HERE.

Soccer Mommy is on a headline tour now, and will head to Europe next to open for KaceyMusgraves, who she is also supporting on their West Coast tour in 2019. Soccer Mommy and her band have been touring non-stop this past year, supporting the likes of Paramore, Liz Phair, Phoebe Bridgers, Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks, and Speedy Ortiz.
