POND Share “Sixteen Days” Video + Major U.S. Tour Begins Next Week

Today, POND have shared a video for their new single, “Sixteen Days,” via Spinning Top Records | Interscope. The psychedelic space romp will feature on the five-piece’s eighth studio album scheduled for release in Spring 2019.

“‘Sixteen Days’ is about, once upon a time, being jealous and paranoid, too ground down and mad to enjoy love and Genoa,” says frontman Nicholas Allbrook of the track.

Friend and longtime collaborator Kristofski directed and sprinkled the stardust on the pickled, nostalgic, saccharine and flamboyant visual accompaniment that features a beguiling performance from the enigmatic front man. “Goulburn Valley Gold. Ruthless business. Fierce steals the show – World Champion (note – mirror ball helmet),” adds Allbrook of the video.

“Sixteen Days” follows the release of the eight-minute-long spatial adventure “Burnt Out Star,” their first new music since the release of the acclaimed 2017 studio album The Weather. This month, the band will embark on an extensive North American headline tour, beginning next week with an appearance at Desert Daze Festival, alongside Tame Impala& The Lizard WizardDeath Grips and many more before hitting up major cities across the U.S. and Canada including San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, Chicago, Denver, Detroit and more.
