Born Stranger shares Last Night On Earth

Initially a duo, the superlative pop act Born Stranger is now purely defined by Maddox-Jones who takes the reigns solo. With his soulful vocals, stellar songwriting and a sound characterised by it’s infectious groove, Maddox continues to push musical boundaries with his refined vision of pop mastery.

Drawing inspiration from pop heavyweights across the musical spectrum; Chic, Depeche Mode right through to The Weeknd & Maroon 5, Born Stranger has a firm grasp on what makes a spectacular song. The appeal continues into their streaming performance with hundreds of thousands of hits on a multitude of releases, with appearances on multiple coveted Spotify curated playlists.

Signing to Radikal Records (Salt Ashes, Nelly Furtado) this summer, Born Stranger return to take the pop world by storm. Taking the production lead, Yoad Nevo (Sia, Goldfrapp) provides the pristine pop platform for the vocals to reach anthemic status as they so rightly deserve. With just one listen to this standout track, you’ll be completely enraptured by the swaggering and timeless groove that’ll leave the indelible melodies rattling in your head until you hear it again.

On the narrative behind Last Night on Earth, Born Stranger shares “Last Night on Earth was written around a friend of mines house who sadly isn’t with us anymore. The world has lost a few amazing people recently that were seemingly happy on the surface but battled with depression on the inside. Last Night on Earth is about living in the moment, being there for each other and celebrating humanity.”
