MDE (My Digital Enemy) have been firing on all cylinders as of late. They’ve relaunched Vudu Records, released on Dirtybird, started a new EP series on Zulu Records and now they’re returning to their imprint again to release a duo of melodic masterpieces. Produced by Ukranian DJ Andrew Rai and Boris Roodbwoy, “My Love” also gets a remix from Zulu regular No Hopes. It’s easy to hear why this has already big support and plays from Sam Divine, No Requests, Judge Jules, Sam Fedlt and many more.
Known for their ability to pick out the freshest underground sounds around, Zulu deliver yet again, ‘My Love’ offers delicate synth patterns and stabs throughout, with euphoric tones and a progressive backbeat keeping things moving nicely. Both intricate and stripped down, this one offers something different from the Zulu catalogue.
No Hopes takes up remixing responsibilities, transforming ‘My Love’ into a deep house roller. Delving into bass and jackin house vibes, whilst still maintaining the structure and feel of the original, this is another unique sound that keeps the energy up in a completely different way.
Strap yourselves in, Zulu Records are at it again.
