INTERVIEW: Sean and the Sinners

Hi guys, welcome to VENTS! How have you been?

-We have been busy man finishing our EP with Extreme Music/ Sony ATV.

Can you talk to us more about your latest single “Not Gonna Fall In Love“?

– me (Sean Colton) and Skye Emmanuel really loved blink 182 and bands like that growing up so we decided to make a song that reminds us of the early 2000s era!

Did any event in particular inspired you to write this song?

-My girlfriend at the time wanted me to be in a relationship but I just wasn’t feeling it.

Any plans to release a video for the single?

-Indeed. We are getting that prepared right now actually!

How was the recording and writing process?

-Really easy! I wrote the melody and then Skye shredded it on guitar and Aaron our other member put it all together!

What role does Torrance play in your writing?

-It’s where we first started making songs at our band member Aaron’s house studio.

How Sublime and Blink 182 has influence your music?

-Grew up listening to them and learned a lot from each band’s style.

Does the new single mean we can expect a new material – how’s that coming along?

-We signed with Sony ATV and just finished our 4 song EP. we are releasing one at a time with them starting with Not Gonna Fall In Love.

Any tentative release date or title in mind?

-By the end of the year our single will be on all platforms. Not Gonna Fall In Love got released on the radio worldwide this last week playing in anywhere from Seattle to Dublin. You can hear it right now on our soundcloud link www.soundcloud.com/Seanandthesinners

Any plans to hit the road?

-This is all new to use but we will for sure. For starters we will be playing a lot on the Sunset strip in Hollywood.

What elsis happening next in Sean and the Sinners’ world?

-We are going to party.
