PREMIERE: The Silver Snails Releases “Temple Princess”

Moving over to Italy, we are pleased to have back the incredible and VENTS vets The Silver Snails for the release of their infectious new single “Temple Princess.”

The Silver Snails are a band with a goal: to create the world’s finest pop rock.  They have a mission, too: to open human hearts through sound, light, and word.  Both their goal and mission are as lofty as they come; the result is The 7 Melodies, the Italian-based band’s 8-track debut full-length.

Comprised of lead singer Lucas Ward and his wife Elisa Fantini, The Silver Snails take inspiration from the family’s rustic backdrop in the wine country of Romagna, Italy, yet fashion a contemporary, artisanal pop rock for a global audience, like a fine silk tie from a Florentine fashion house.

Songs on The Seven Melodies, the group’s ambitious, harmonically rich debut album, are sung in English, French, Italian, Mandarin, and even a bit of Sanskrit. Taking deep space (specifically the M42 nebula) as its departure point, single “Dancing with the Stars” leads with a melody that reaches for the stratosphere. The style of the group is playful and theatrical, strongly reflecting early imprinting of Beatles, Stones, Bowie, Floyd, and other invasive British species.

Beyond rock and pop, you’ll also hear influences as wide and diverse as Beethoven, electronica, Irish, jazz, Nigerian, Kawali, Asian folk music, and more throughout The 7 Melodies.

The Silver Snails are supported by a community of musicians, artists, dancers, and friends, each of whom has added their personal inspiration and talent to the project. Using music as a platform, The Silver Snails aspire to open a channel of love from the human family to the sky, inspiring and supporting others to do the same.

Fresh and melodic, the songs are stylistically adventurous, yet firmly rooted in post-Beatles pop. Like the 7 colors of the spectrum, each song is shaded by a different frequency of emotion. Taken together, the songs form a powerful audio love bomb.
