Origami Crane Premieres “Like A Flame”

Indie-pop trio, Origami Crane, is exclusively premiering their newest single “Like A Flame” via Atwood Magazine today! Give the track a spin here: https://bit.ly/2OSiFfj.

“Like A Flame” was recorded by Grammy-nominated Brent Kolatalo (Ariana Grande, Kanye West) and Arthur Indrikovs (Calvin Harris, Florence + The Machine), and follows the release of their previous single “Turn Around.” On the track, drummer Max McEwen shares, “‘Like A Flame’ is a hot end-of-summer dance tune about what everyone wants: that passionate summer love with a person that blows your mind, and ‘keep[s] burning through the night.’ It’s syncopated, it’s groovy, and we really love playing it live.”

Origami Crane met when the three members were students at Berklee College of Music in Boston, and after crossing the country multiple times as members of different pop, soul, and rock bands, the three decided it was their turn to create a band of their own. In the summer of 2017, they packed up a van with everything they could possibly fit, and drove from Denver to NYC with the vision of Origami Crane in mind.

Upcoming Shows:

Oct 26 – New York, NY @ Rockwood Music Hall, Stage 1
