Imagine Dragons & Post Malone give fans one-of-a kind Virtual Reality experience

During yesterday’s Oculus Connect keynote, Mark Zuckerberg addressed thousands of VR developers, creators, producers, and designers on the potential of VR, the bright future it has ahead and his goal of reaching one billion users.

As a mass audience for VR continues to develop — consumers are hungry for new content propositions that are ready to break into the mass market. Enter MelodyVR, the world’s first licensed platform for VR music experiences.

MelodyVR’s team of engineers, videographers, and music-industry veterans have spent the past four years developing proprietary software and technology, to enable the delivery of immersive content to music fans across the globe, in partnership with the world’s most recognizable artists and major record labels.

Why? To break down the barriers of time and space. MelodyVR enables anyone, anywhere, to experience incredible VR performances via their platform, from epic stadium shows to exclusive VIP sessions.

Today, MelodyVR launched their latest set of exclusive VR experiences. Imagine Dragons live at Red Rocks and AWOLNation live in London, now join current chart toppers Post Malone, 5 Seconds of Summer and J Balvin on the platform’s show line-up.

“We are always looking for new ways to bring our fans into the live experience” said Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons, “there are only so many days in the year and a lot of places to tour. Working with MelodyVR means we can give a more immersive experience to fans who may not otherwise get to be there in person.”

In the coming months, MelodyVR will live-stream concerts to fans across the globe, following a series of exclusive partnerships with major venues. Fans will be able to experience live performances regardless of age, where they live, or their budget. Furthermore, never again will a show be ‘sold-out’, as fans will be able to purchase a VR ticket, regardless of a venue’s capacity.

“We work tirelessly to bring our music to life each night and partnering with MelodyVR to bring that experience to fans in a digital world is an exciting new opportunity,” says Aaron Bruno of AWOLNation. “We can’t wait for everyone to see it!”
