Anna St. Louis premieres new single “Desert”

Anna St. Louis will release her debut album If Only There Was A River in just two weeks’ time, and today she shares her evocative new single “Desert.”

If Only There Was a River was co-produced by Kevin Morby and Kyle Thomas and also features the previously released singles “Understand” and “The Bells.” It is out October 12 on Woodsist / Mare Records and is available for pre-order on digital and physical format now.

St. Louis shared more new music today via Aquarium Drunkard’s Lagniappe Sessions, for which she recorded three stripped-down covers of Johnny Cash’s “I Would Like To See You Again,” Townes Van Zandt’s “Loretta,” and Spacemen 3’s “Walkin’ With Jesus.”

Anna St. Louis will celebrate her record release with a hometown in-store performance at LA’s Permanent Records in Highland Park on October 20. William Tyler will open the show, which will be followed by an afterparty across the street at Town Pizza featuring a DJ set by Kevin Morby and King Tuff.
