PREMIERE: Ceiling Spirits Release New Music Video For “Surfacing (Depth Emerge Lifted)”

Kicking off our premiere week, we are pleased to team up with Ceiling Spirits for the premiere of their visual for “Surfacing (Depth Emerge Lifted),” the driving, cinematic instrumental was composed and performed by Mario Quadracci, the creator/founder of Ceiling Spirits.  Iconic producer Gareth Jones (Depeche Mode, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Wire), offered to take Quadracci’s unique musical vision to a cohesive and striking level, taken as he was by Quadracci’s talents. The Ceiling Spirits concept encompasses the varied moods and soulful orchestrations of Quadracci’s solo guitar work, effects and technique, and is augmented by robust strings provided by a 21 piece hand-picked cast of Irish classical musicians.

The Ceiling Spirits concept encompasses the varied moods and soulful orchestrations of Quadracci’s solo guitar work, effects and technique, and is augmented by the robust strings.  Alternately ferocious and elegiac, soaring and sparse, the compositions come alive in sound and are often enhanced by original ethereal visualizers, connecting with listeners in both familiar and definingly unique ways.  Although the album is technically broken up into different sections / compositions, the recording is intended to be listened to as one piece.
