Wrapping our premiere Monday, we got a rather stripped down live video by the talented Kaylee Marshall who has return with an acoustic version of her haunting single “Healing.”

Says Kaylee: 

“This song came to me in the form of healthy self-conviction. I had been doing things, post-breakup, that were re-opening my heartbreak wound. I was hit so hard with the realization that we truly are responsible for our own healing. And I don’t think we’re told that enough. I think we live inside a culture that is quicker to scroll backwards into a toxic past with our thumbs than we are to look ahead with our eyes to the beautiful future that God promises us. I think we think healing just “happens,” but it really requires a deliberate and healthy approach. And I want to put a piece of art out there with a message that will give the same permission to others to heal with purpose and with grace as I’ve given to myself.
