PREMIERE: Lizanne Knott Releases “Stones Throw”

Lizanne Knott has shared the stage with artists like Shawn Colvin, Suzanne Vega, and Joan Osborne, among others; her vast discography has been praised by a multitude of critics, including her album Excellent Day being dubbed as one of the “Outstanding Albums of 2016”.

Her new record Anthology is comprised of 14 songs that chronicle her life and extensive years as a songwriter.

Today, we are pleased to team up for the premiere of the refreshing, harmony-heavy intro to the record, “Stone’s Throw”, highly recommended for Sheryl Crow fans or listeners looking for a song that’s worthy of rolling your windows down for.

Knott said, “Stone’s Throw was written by a good friend of mine, Nathan Bell, who has an ability to write with intense honesty and empathy at the same time. This song in particular struck a truth in my own life and I immediately wanted to record it. Listening to it now, it seems pretty timeless in it’s message and I love that.”

For the culmination of fan-favorites, Knott enlisted the help of Grammy-winning collaborator and co-producer Glenn Barratt (Elton John’s Aida, Diana Ross, Melody Gardot) and legendary producer/engineer Vance Powell (Chris Stapleton, Jack White, Sturgill Simpson).

Anthology is available via Transoceanic Records.
