Plested Release “Ribcage”

With a debut solo album on the horizon, supporting the likes of Vance Joy and his own sold-out headline show at Kings Cross Old Church in July, the emerging star is attracting some of the biggest producers and songwriters in the game: Malay (Frank Ocean, Lorde) and Emily Warren (Dua Lipa) to name just a couple who are currently working with him. Such heavyweight co-signs points to an artist not to be slept on. Watch here

Speaking on the track, Plested states: “‘Ribcage’ is a little idea I had to articulate the fact that I find falling in love so hard…It’s been 25 years of dating, ‘don’t-know-how-I-feels,’ and distancing because every time I get close, I automatically stop myself. Maybe all of our hearts are just caged up inside us, simply waiting for the right person to come set them free?”
