PREMIERE: Snow Villain Release New Music Video For “Records”

Rarely does the wardrobe of a music video match the detailedness of songs recording. At first glance the characters in Snow Villains official video for Records, could fit nicely into a Guillermo del Torro film. The costume deign and setting transport you to an otherworldly dimension where modern music had its place in “The Enchanted Forrest”. The strength of the video, coupled with precise and rewarding song writing make for one of the late summers most well rounded audio/visual expierence. Catchy piano, meaningful lyrics, and a strong vocal delivery gives us small glimpse into the potential of Pennsylvania’s Snow Villain.

About the song, the band comments:

The song is about romanticizing the past & nostalgia & our unwavering desire for what we don’t have. Specifically, the song & video mirror these paradigms as a metaphor for “lost love.” The setting for the video is a “fantastical” world, undefined by physical, earthly characteristics essentially to represent “memories,” and our odd ability to color them positively or negatively in retrospect after “trauma.”
