Starling releases her new single ‘You’ on August 31st. Having released ‘The Soul EP’ earlier this summer, featuring the single ‘Profiteroles’ she makes a stunning return with ‘You’. Listen here: http://smarturl.it/STARLING-YOU

Speaking about the new single, Starling explains; “You” is a love song about hunger; that absent love you can have with someone who is fixated with going out than with being together. He wants to go out, he wants to get high; whereas, I don’t want that anymore – I want meaning. The video is about realising what I really need is self-love and the ability to be loving with myself, not just looking outside for that contentment.”

Speaking about the EP Starling explains,”‘The Soul’ marks the truth exploding out of me – power, fragility, change – I’m growing up and I’m braver than before. I’m not bound by my fear or my broken heart so much. I would almost say it’s sugary which is saying something as my previous two EP’s have been dark as. I’ve evolved and so has the story, the sound.”

Starling will headline The Waiting Room in London on September 26th. She will also be touring the UK ahead of her London headline show, supporting Catherine McGrath. Full dates below:
