The Top 3 Social Media Tools You Need Today

Every business on the planet is now realising that in order to be successful online they need more than just a good website. They need an engaged audience on social media platforms too.

But with a business to run, people to pay and sales to generate, there aren’t many business owners who can devote serious time to developing content, engaging with followers and curating the best industy-revelant content on the web.

This is where social media management tools come in. They help you upload all of your posts and content for the days, weeks and even months ahead, saving you critical time for company owners to spend on other crucial parts of their business. We’ve listed the top three for you here for you don’t have to spend hours searching for them.

  1. Hootsuite

Perhaps the biggest name in social media management Hootsuite does everything anyone could need on social media, either for a personal brand or a company. It has a free version which will provide enough functionality for smaller companies.

This version gives you the ability to: link 3 social media profiles, schedule up to 30 posts in advance and create social contests for lead generation. It comes with a very limited analytics function and two RSS feeds. Anybody serious about social media would have to upgrade to one of their paid plans.

  1. Buffer

Hot on the heels of the launch of Hootsuite came Buffer. Their free plan offers almost the same features except you can only schedule 10 posts into the future, and you cannot use their link shortening until you upgrade to a paid plan.

They have plenty of chrome extensions and they have a partnership with the content platform Quuu so, if you really wanted to, you can put your social media strategy completely on autopilot. Their main benefit is that the paid plans start off at a far cheaper price than Hootsuite, but they do increase rapidly as you add more profiles.

  1. PublBox

This new start-up company is challenging the two heavyweights above by offering all of their competitors features and more for less than half the price. You are able to schedule all of you posts for all the major social media networks for up to 15 accounts.

What sets this platform apart is the fact is has the content built into the network, so you don’t have to go searching the internet for great posts to share, they are already there waiting for you. Add to that its own unique design editor (with a massive 1000+ templates) to help you create amazing and engaging posts and their low price starts to look even more attractive. What is more, there is support available 24 hours of the day and you can even book a Skype call with your own personal manager. Not too shabby!

So there you have it, the three best tools for social media have a lot of similar features however there are big gaps in pricing. You need to decide which features are right for you and then make sure it has a price point that you can afford. Good luck with choosing.
