Los Angeles-based alternative rock band Dead Sara have premiered the music video for latest single “Anybody,” off their Atlantic Records debut EP, Temporary Things Taking Up Space. The Cory James Bailey-directed visual premiered today via NYLON.
The band will embark on their fall headline tour next month, kicking off September 5th in Phoenix, AZ and continuing through October with a hometown headline show at Los Angeles’ Teragram Ballroom on October 20th. For tour dates and ticket info, please visit deadsara.com.
With Temporary Things Taking Up Space, Dead Sara takes an extraordinary, yet still very natural step forward. Produced by Tony Hoffer, known for his acclaimed work with Beck, M83, and Air, the EP sees the trio – Emily Armstrong (vocals and guitar), Siouxsie Medley (lead guitar), and Sean Friday (drums) – confidently expanding their already adventurous sonic palette with the incorporation of synthesizers and electronic percussive elements. In another first, Dead Sara welcomed collaborations with outside songwriters including Tommy English (BØRNS, Ladyhawke) and GRAMMY® Award-winner Simon Katz (Jamiroquai, Sia) while continuing to push their own creative songcraft even further. The result is a powerful new work more than capturing Dead Sara’s epic drive and resounding ambition.
