Hey I’ve been great! Just got finished working on my album actually.
Can you talk to us more about your latest single “Revenge 777/Bad Vibes Forever”?
Yes I wrote it when XXXTENTACION was tragically murdered. I also wrote it for 16 year a boy named Junior, who was stabbed and killed in New York recently. My friend Gerard was murdered in a driveby whem I was 15 so X’s death reminded me of thaat incident. I also included a few small details from his death as well.
Did any event in particular inspired you to write this song?
Yes it was the death of Jahseh Onfroy AKA XXXTENTACION.
Any plans to release a video for the single?
Yes. There is a video already out now!!! It was directed by CO Golden of Undenyable Media.
I wrote the song in One day. Emotions were so high that I was able to finish it rather quickly. I recorded it with My Engineer Jewelian Hatchett, in Memphis TN. It was an amazing process.
What role does Houston play in your writing?
The screw sound we are infamous for! I have applied that to some of my latest releases.
How the late XXXTENTACION has influence your music?
His approach to alternative rap music was very interesting. I like that he was also able to be a very lyrical rapper when needed. He taught me speaking on topics like depression and suicide in songs were OK.
What aspect of Anime did you get to explore on your music?
In the video I cosplayed as an Anbu Black OPPS member. Also had the Zabimaru Sword Renji Carried from Bleach. I spoke of Revenge which is the thing that Sasuke Uchiha (The character from Naruto in which My Stage name is based off of) pursued on the Anime series Naruto Shippuden.
Does the new single mean we can expect a new material – how’s that coming along?
Yes! My Album was inspired by the title of that song. “Revenge 777: Last of the Uchiha” is out everywhere now!
Any tentative release date or title in mind?
Yes it dropped last week. Entitled “Revenge 777:Last of the Uchiha” Artwork was designed by Paul Bunyun (founder of the #Hiphopmemphis Movement)
Any plans to hit the road?
Soon Looking for more show opportunities outside of Memphis.
What else is happening next in Pharaoh Uchiha’s world?
I plan to go Global with my emo/trap/rap cloud style and hopefully inspire other female artists in hip hop to rise above the stereotype. In the meantime I’m working to record my next project. Production by JS Pro recordings, Jewelian Hatchett and hopefully Skinna Mane, who produced most of my last album. All located in Memphis TN.
