DJ, producer, tastemaker, and influencer Danny Howard will embark on a special 10-date ‘Nothing Else Matters’ UK tour this Autumn, bringing a series of specially curated line-ups to various venues around the country.
Having continued to play a series of shows across his Mallorca and Ibiza residencies this season, as well as sets at the likes of Defected Croatia, Hideout and a packed 10,000 strong tent at Boardmasters, the announcement follows Danny’s move to a late Friday night slot on BBC Radio 1 alongside Annie Mac and Pete Tong. So far the broadcaster and DJ has been joined by a number of the hottest names in electronic music, including Camelphat, Solardo, Fisher, Detlef and many more.
Kicking things off at Mission in Leeds on 15th September, Danny will also play across the likes of Digital in Newcastle, Arts Club in Liverpool, a special Halloween slot at Switch Southampton, and ABODE in the Park, where Danny will host his very own ‘Nothing Else Matters’ stage at the Finsbury Park festival, joining a billing that includes the likes of Lee Foss and Waze & Odyssey.
“This is without a doubt my biggest UK tour to date” said Danny, proud owner of his Nothing Else Matters imprint, with the label now expanding as a widely acclaimed event series. “I’m so excited to be playing what I think are the best venues in my favourite cities on home turf! Expect house music all night long, special guests and all round good vibes… This is gonna be fun!”
With Nothing Else Matters previously hosting a stage at SW4, and housing the likes of Sonny Fodera, KC Lights, Secondcity, Après, Just Kiddin and Kydus via recent releases from the label, Danny’s ethos across the board is simple: whether it’s on the radio, at a festival or via a record he’s supporting, the same spirit and energy goes into everything.
Having released recent tracks on the likes of Glasgow Underground (‘All That Dancing’), Toolroom Records (‘Got That Sound’), and Subliminal (‘This Sound’), Danny continues to cement his reputation as one of the most diverse and dynamic producers in modern electronic music, with upcoming sets at Rize, Creamfields, Reading & Leeds Festival, and Manchester’s Warehouse Project on the horizon.
