Cara said: “I had such a great time filming and recording this acoustic version of ‘How I Feel’. It’s a very emotional song anyway, but as a stripped back, acoustic version I feel like it brings out the honest lyrics that bit more. We’ve performed this version a few times before and I feel it really connects with the crowd.”
The original version of ‘How I Feel’ picked up support from no less than 11 New Music Friday playlists on Spotify around the world – an incredible achievement a for brand new, independent British artist.
Co-written in Copenhagen with Olle Markensten and Daniel Bech. ‘How I Feel’ is a classic break-up song with honest, conversational lyrics, combined with stylish, original production. Taken from Cara’s recent experiences, both personally and professionally, anyone who has has their heart broken will relate to this track.
“How I Feel is a very relatable song about love, loss and nostalgia,” explains Cara “I think the track picks up on those little details and memories which are present in all types of relationships, making it a very powerful song”
“I was so lucky to write this song with some amazing songwriters and producers at GL Music in Copenhagen, Denmark; a city that helped inspire the song.
