Christian French Releases “Sweet Home”

21 year old singer-songwriter Christian French began his musical journey in high school, sharing acoustic covers to SoundCloud which displayed a natural talent, and unbeknownst to him at the time it was the start of something big. During his studies at Indiana University, Christian met fellow student and producer Triegy and together they coined their first single, Fall For You which charted on the U.S. Top 50 Chart on Spotify. The duo built on this success with an additional four singles and over time Christian’s audience grew exponentially.

His potential was starting to get noticed, and Christian moved to L.A. to solely focus on furthering his musical career. He linked with grammy-nominated producer Dru Decaro, and their synergy created Christian’s solo debut love ride and follow up superstars; the latter of which garnering over 325k streams on Spotify alone in under 2 months, and reached Spotify’s algorithmic playlists ‘Fresh Finds’ and ‘Discover Weekly’ as well as receiving support from Koala Kontrol and Aminium among many more.

Christian’s sound perfectly transfers into an emphatic live performance, and early this year he was invited by Chelsea Cutler to be the special guest on her ‘Sleeping With Roses Tour.’ The pair clearly have a very engaged audience as they sold out the 17 show North American tour in less than three weeks of announcement.

Releasing August 1st, Christian shares latest track sweet home, a summery Indie Pop ode to the comforts of home, spinning a relatable lyrical narrative around the phrase ‘home is where the heart is’. The production provides a down-to-earth and grassroots aesthetic that pulls focus towards the stellar songwriting whilst complimenting the mood, forging sensations of warm summer evenings that work perfectly in tandem with the indelible melodies.

On the motivation behind sweet home, Christian French states “I’ve lived at home in Indiana my whole life, never thought I would pursue a career in LA making music. I wrote it during a time where leaving home to chase this dream could be hard for me, it still all seems unreal… But I love every bit of it.”
