Ambient production duo ag. release debut single ‘Warped Minds’

Leeds-based ambient production duo ag. have today released their debut single ‘Warped Minds’.

Already receiving support from BBC Introducing, ‘Warped Minds’ is steeped with enigmatic production of far-eastern influence with atmospheric synths, warm bass and echoing vocals, all brought together with a 4/4 beat. Their intelligent and expansive sound is reminiscent of the likes of Bonobo, Four Tet and Burial.

Regarding ‘Warped Minds’ ag. say, We wrote the track to explore the feeling of desperation and simply just needing to go home to your family, when there’s nowhere else to go. From our own experience of living in London under the strain of money and not being around what you know, we count ourselves lucky we have a safe haven, which we can call home. Both coming from rural parts of the UK we find escaping from the city even for a day can help alter your mind back from the warped state filled with stress and anxiety.”

ag. is the collaborative project of Ross Quinn and Andrew Goddard. The pair come together off the back of successful solo production and DJ careers which have seen them play shows across the globe. Calling upon their experience of clubland, live music, songwriting and production they deliver artful electronic music suited to dancefloors and live stages around the world.

With ‘Warped Minds’ ag. put their firm stamp on electronic music today as they cross the genre boundaries in the forward thinking scene. The pair bring their energy to the stage with both a full band and DJ sets. ag. have exciting live news to follow soon.
