Spotlights, the Brooklyn Trio who recently wrapped up a tour with Quicksand and Glassjaw before hopping on a quick run with Pallbearer, return to the road in October, joining The Life and Times on a co-headlining outing.
The band have also unveiled a new video, “Learn to Breathe,” which is viewable now via Revolver: https://www.revolvermag.com/music/see-crushing-post-metal-band-spotlights-rage-new-learn-breathe-video. The stark black and white live clip was directed by Ryan Sutherby, producer and cinematographer of the Melvins’ documentary, “The Colossus of Destiny: A Melvins Tale.” Spotlights have previously toured with the Melvins.
Spotlights recently released a five-track EP, titled Hanging By Faith. The EP includes a stirring rendition of The Cure’s “Faith” as well as the cinematic song, “The Hanging (Hang Us All)” (https://youtu.be/TqHTumdiM2g).
