PREMIERE: SUMI Releases “Bullshit Detector”

Currently based in Brooklyn, SUMI does it once again with her new single “Bullshit Detector,” out today. Originally hailing from Japan, the sultry Pop-goddess is creating an eclectic brand of music on her own terms. Within the track her musical fire and passion comes through like an unstoppable force.

SUMI says of the track:

“I got inspired by attitude toward ridiculous things and people want to fool us for their own benefits. Be a detector for BS, sassy and rebellious in comical and theatrical ways, and make fun of it.”

The instrumentation is on point and her vocals are out of this world. The follow up to her recently-shared single “Spacey Love,” SUMI shows no signs of slowing down.  Her unique voice will get inside your head and make you obsessed with her charming sounds. Bound to be one of your favorite artists this year, dive in and give a listen to SUMI.

The track was written by Sumiko Yamazaki (SUMI), Brian Lindgren and Billy Seidman, and was produced by Brian Lindgren, co-Produced by SUMI, mixed by Pablo San Martin and mastered by Alex Psaroudakis.
