Lewis Bootle Announces New Summer Single

UK singer/songwriter Lewis Bootle is set to release a new single on the 17th of August 2018.

‘City In The Sun’, recorded in London with Darren Woodford at Strongroom Studios, sees Bootle re-unite with singer, storyteller and long time collaborator Gecko for the first time since their ‘Festival Band’ debut together from 2016.

A proper summer banger that will available digitally at all major outlets, the new track is a celebration of being young and free in the city with your friends and is accompanied by a brilliant sun drenched DIY video made by SERVOcreatives for twenty quid.

Tinny rhythms flow out of phone speakers, Bank holiday weekend sun seekers, some nutter with an acoustic guitar won’t shut up”

Raised on a diet of The Clash, Jamie – T and Frank Ocean, the young singer combines thought-provoking, no – nonsense lyrics with infectious pop melodies to great effect.  A former Best Of British Unsigned Male Of The Year, over the last two years Lewis Bootle has performed at Glastonbury, Bestival, Standon CallingFrank Turner’s acclaimed ‘Lost Evenings’ event at The Roundhouse and most recently played ‘sold out’ headline shows at The Camden Assembly and The Courtyard in Shoreditch.

A truly engaging and increasingly popular performer, Lewis Bootle will announce a special series of live dates in the very near future.
