CD REVIEW: Scary World by Night Club

Remember Dale Bozzio of Missing Persons and Britney Spears and her song “Toxic?” If you blend the female vocals of Bozzio, with the sensuality of Spears song “Toxic” and give a final stir of a ‘Looking Glass’ atmosphere you have captured the dark electropop synth sounds of Night Clubs newest album ‘Scary World’ due out 8/24/18.

The album from start to finish is a mad hop of bondage/sweets/snuff film voyeurisms. You want to turn your head but there is something that continues to show the duo, Emily, and Mark, talents so markedly clear. Their world-wide tour has been a great success so far garnering and strengthening their fan base around the globe. This new album, Scary World, will certainly continue to grow this.

Music titles from the album that screams solid goth music like “Vampires,” and “Candy Coded Suicide” show that  Night Club is the current NIN and perhaps even better.
