Set inNew York, and filmed entirely oniPhone, the video – directed by creative talentAlex Maxwell,focuses on a groupof girls taking control of the NYC street, embarking on a frenzied evening of madness, which culminate in wild scenes of debauchery in a localpizzachain.
Focusing on the drunk behaviour of the rabid crew, who take charge of the night,‘Pizza’marks the first collaborative project from‘AntiUp’– a duo consisting of two of electronic music’s finest talents.
Having previously worked together on 2017 summer anthem‘Nothing Better’,which was heavily supported by bothPete TongandDanny HowardonBBC Radio 1, the track amassed almost5 million Spotify streams, withLake & Lorenzodeciding that now was the right time to step into the studio once more.
Blessed with rasping chord patterns, and the club-ready synth twists that both producers have become famed for,AntiUp’s‘Pizza’is topped with supremely relatable lyrics, and a sinister beat which looks to cement the production’s place on dancefloors worldwide this summer.
Chris Lorenzois best known for his iconic anthem‘Rhymes’,which has garnered over20 million Spotify streams, and has recently produced the original soundtrack to the 2018 film‘The Festival’(from the director of the record breaking‘Inbetweeners’movies) – released nationwide on14th August.
