Varsity Releases New Music Video For “A Friend Named Paul”

Chicago’s garage-pop tour de force Varsity released a new video for the vibrant single “A Friend Named Paul” off of their critically acclaimed sophomore album, Parallel Person, released earlier this year on Babe City Records.

The band shares:

Our extremely talented friends and directors Mark Pallman and Amanda Speva took our tiny nugget of an idea and expanded it beyond anything we could’ve dreamed up ourselves. They were able to capture the tone and the vibe of both the song and the idea that had been swimming around in our heads. Playful, yet serious. Bright, but with an underlying sense of discomfort. We couldn’t be more happy with the way the video turned out, and have also picked up some new dance moves from our favorite group of synchronized seniors.
