California-based duo slenderbodies announce a string of headline U.S. tour dates following shows in September with Milky Chance. TheTake You Home World Tour will hit Los Angeles, Atlanta, D.C., Philadelphia, Boston, New York City and Chicago, along with stops in the UK/Europe and Canada. Tickets are on sale to the public Friday, August 3rd at 10:00am PST via http://slenderbodi.es/.

The “psychedelically inclined indie duo who sip from a similar mystic musical spring as MGMT, Glass Animals, and alt-J” (Santa Barbara Independent) sing, write, produce, and mix their own tracks. In the last eight months, the band has toured with Mura Masa, Passion Pit, and PVRIS. Meanwhile, their debut single “Anemone” has racked up over 15 million collective streams.

Their world tour name stems from the “infectious” (City Soundcheck) fresh single “Take You Home” from their forthcoming EP SORAYA, meaning ‘jewel.’ SORAYA is due out this fall through the Los Angeles indie label Avant Garden, which is also home to Emotional Oranges.
