CD REVIEW: Commissary by Casanova

Laced with a total of 9 tracks, Casanova’s debut album, “Commissary” is currently one of the hottest hip-hop songs on hip-hop fans’ playlist. Casa also is also one of the finest rappers in New York, even though he not super lyrical as other past prominent rappers had worked in the industry. But as a prolific writer and hip-hop fan at WritingJobz once said, his energy and passion will lead him to greater heights.  Here is a review of some of the hit songs in his debut album, “Commissary.”

  1. Down Bitch

Casanova and A Boogie, two of New York’s finest rappers featured in this song. But what makes it worth talking about is that these two artists showed how good they could be, given an opportunity to do songs in other genres. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s melodic hook made the song more exciting and unique. And you could hear Casanova trying to sound a bit more romantic to suit the rhythm of the song. Down Bitch is one of the songs that indeed shows how creative the America rapper Cass, can be.

  1. Catch A Body

The song “Catch A Body” may not be your favorite rap song, but it means a lot to the rap. It is clear Cass was using this song to warn listeners and foes of how dangerous he can be to anyone who crosses his path. His bars where all threats and indicates he is ready to party with anyone who wants his happiness or go to war with anyone who dares to anger him. It is obvious the gangster life is still very much in his blood. Of course, he is from the street.

  1. Left Right

This song has everything that could make it one of the hit songs of the year. The instrumental, Cass’s energy and other artiste featured in the song made it one of the best songs in his debut album. Chris Brown and Fabolous were part of the guest artists that brought in some creativity, but Casanova’s performance was still outstanding. He was able to set the tone of the song with a verse and hook that paved the way for other artists to come in. The song is classy and inspiring just like his interview.

  1. Go Best Friend 2.0

Go Best Friend is no doubt going to be this year’s strip club anthem. The beat will make you feel happy, and Cass’s disrespectful words towards women make the song fit the class of songs we have heard in many famous strip club tracks in the past. He also featured G-Eazy and Rich the Kid who were both impressive.

Conclusion

Even if you are not a regular papers buy you can still identify creativity when you encounter one. And most of Cass’s songs showed that creativity that makes hip-hop interesting. The exhilarating instrumentals also add to these excitements. Casanova is also one of the brightest hip-hop artists with great potentials to reach the highest height of his musical career. But it will be too sudden to conclude on that with just one debut album.
