GUITARIST BHARGAV CHOUDHURY TO RELEASE DEBUT EP BARGAV “NEW BEGINNINGS” ON AUGUST 17

Originally from Guwahati, India but currently based in Los Angeles, CA guitarist Bhargav Choudhury aka BARGAV is set to release his debut EP “New Beginnings” on August 17.

On this self-produced 3-song set you will find a timeless blast of powerful, yet innovative genre-bending rock. Also, lending their talents to the EP are Jungshi Aier on bass/vocals and Ryo Nakamura on drums, mix and mastered by Ricky Bonanza.

Choudhury has been a fan of western music since childhood. He picked up a guitar for the first time in his early teens and hasn’t put it down. A multi-versatile player he’s skilled in a wide array of musical genres including: blues, rock, progressive, jazz, metal and funk.

This skilled and versatile guitarist was one of three winners out of thousands in the Ibanez Flying Fingers Contest USA in 2017, hand picked by celebrity judge, Mr. Big and Racer X guitar virtuoso Paul Gilbert. Choudhury was also awarded three scholarships via the world renown Musician’s Institute located in Hollywood, CA. including the Al Bruno Country Scholarship, International Student Scholarship and Musicianship Scholarship. He is currently a graduate of MI with an Associates of the Arts degree in Guitar Performance, he also garnered certification from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.

This EP marks Choudhury’s first release since moving to Los Angeles, he’s put what he’s  experienced into music, it represents the new moments in his life as well as the journey this young musician is taking.

The songs on the new EP are both aggressive and melodious, further showcasing the abilities of Choudhury, a perfect blend of metallic muscle, melody, speed and style.
