PURGATORY SHARE VIDEO FOR “FORCED FAILURE”

Today, the Midwest Street Metal crew, Purgatory, are sharing the new video for “Forced Failure” via a premiere with Revolver Magazine. The track is taken from their debut album Cold Side Of Reality that was released last month on Unbeaten Records (Queensway, Left Behind, Orthodox). The band will also be hitting the road starting July 7th with Watchdogs and Evade, including select dates with All Out War.

Their new video for “Forced Failure” recalls 90’s hardcore legends such as Biohazard and Cold As Life in style, but the song is short, fast, and pummeling as ever. Lyrically, the band tackle topics they witness among their everyday surroundings in the midwest – areas high in crime and drug abuse, surrounded by people that use religion as a crutch to hide their own shortcomings. Drawing from the experiences of friends and family, Purgatory have created a record about the harsh realities taking place in towns across the states. The band summarizes it best by saying, “Basically, you can be a product of your surroundings and upbringing, or you can find your own way.”

For the past several years Purgatory has become a rising force in the hardcore scene releasing a well-received EP (2015’s Gospel Of War) and single (2016’s Beg For Life : Pray For Death). As a potent live force, the band has shared stages with such notables as Cruel Hand, Harm’s Way, Twitching Tongues, Ringworm, Terror, All Out War, Blood For Blood, Stigmata, Leeway, Merauder and Knocked Loose.
