“Fire Truck”, the newest song from Arc & Stones, features the hard-hitting rock upon which the band built their foundation. Dan Pellarin contributes radio worthy lead vocals and otherworldly lead guitar tones. Drawing comparisons to the likes of Kings of Leon and The Foo Fighters, the group continues to put an appealing spin on a seemingly one-dimensional genre.
The song is accompanied by a same-day music video release in which the band stretches their high energy performance into something more emotionally charged and pointed to those who need to see it the most. The song’s meaning doesn’t stop with the band, and it certainly shines through the video for all viewers to see.
“Fire Truck” is an extremely personal tune from the heart of lead singer, Pellarin written in the wake of his struggles with depression. Referencing those times when we push away those who truly care about us, he began to realize that those friends wouldn’t quit – wouldn’t leave his side. “Those are the friends that would run into the flames to save you, knowing full well they’re gonna get burnt…”
“I think “Fire Truck” can be both a sanctuary for the person struggling, and the person that is trying desperately to help, without having to sift through complicated tunnels of meaning“ – says Pellarin.
“Fire Truck” single and music video will be available everywhere July 6th.
