MONA ON THE RADIO INTRODUCES HIMSELF ON “HI, I’M MONA”

Allow mona on the radio to introduce himself: a bubblegum rap artist inspired by turn of the millenium juggernauts like NSYNC and 98 Degrees, the Montreal based musician’s work exists at the intersection of childhood dreams and SoundCloud sensibilities. On his debut single and music video, “Hi, I’m Mona”, he spits an array of shimmering bars alongside cheekily choreographed scenes directed by none other than his little sister. A project that came about “to cheer myself up after i told this girl i loved her but she didn’t say it back 🙁,” the goal behind his first track is crystal clear: “i hope it made u smile. love, mona.
