Code Red Riot, the loud rock alt band from Vegas, just released their debut album, Mask, via Sony RED Music.

Drummer turned Code Red Riot frontman, Corky Gainsford, draws inspiration from legends like Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters), Sully Erna (Godsmack) and Blake Allison (Devour The Day).  The band’s sound is heavy. Really heavy. But, maintains extremely impressive musicality allowing ample separation between drums, guitars, and vocals.

The combination sounds like the technical musicianship of the best metal artists, but with less complex rhythms, creating an easier listening experience than traditional metal.  Don’t let that fool you though. This music is not in any way ‘light’ in character. There is an honest, raw brutality to Code Red Riot’s sound.
