Universal Music Canada’s newest artist Johnny Orlando has been nominated for a 2018 Teen Choice Award for “Choice Music Web Star”. The voting polls are open until June 28, 2018 and will close at 9am PT. Fans can vote online at TeenChoice.com. The Teen Choice Awards will air live on FOX and will be held at The Forum in Los Angeles on August 12, 2018 at 8pm ET/PT.
Orlando recently released his debut single with his new label, “What If” with Mackenzie Ziegler and it has over 4.3 million streams on Spotify and 15 million streams globally across all DSPs. The pop track peaked at #12 on the Canadian Spotify Viral 50 Chart and it was added to Spotify Viral 50 Chart in 33 countries, including #2 in Hong Kong, #6 in Australia, #7 in UK.
The “Romeo & Juliet” inspired music video premiered on Apple Music and in a few short weeks has garnered 9.8 million views on YouTube.
Currently, the 15-year-old has been touring around Europe performing “What If” as well as many other songs from his catalog in anticipation for his upcoming EP set to release this fall.
Orlando burst onto the scene at the young age of 12 when he and his sister started making cover videos that immediately went viral. He has since collected a massive social media with over 17M followers across all platforms (6.7M musical.ly fans with over 372M hearts, 5.3M Instagram followers, 3.2M YouTube Subscribers with over 465M video views, 1.4 Million Facebook likes and over 850K Twitter followers) .
