Recorded by Euan Hinshelwood of Younghusband,  Sleep Eaters’ debut single ‘Ghost on Fire’ is a cacophonous, fuzzed out, desert, cowboy garage-rock 2-minute-plus banger that sounds like The Black Lips or The Stooges have been dropped into a sun-baked, spaghetti western playing to a whiskey bar full of gunslingers on speed.

Forming in 2017 from the ashes of London psychedelic-pop juggernauts Whistlejacket and noisemakers Puffer formerly signed to The Horrors’ label ‘Raft Records – Sleep Eaters have been tearing up the London underground scene in London for several years now across their multiple DIY projects that also includes their Loose Bones Radio show on NTS and their popular South-London club night Slug Club.

Sleep Easters will be celebrating the release of their debut single at Sleep Eaters’ HQ in Hackney Wick, London for Bad Vibrations July 7th with support from The Rebel (Ben Wallers of Country Teasers) as well as The Honkies as well as playing Dials Festival in Portsmouth 6 October.
