Following her successful debut “Dreams” RHEA was quickly championed by a multitude of online blogs such as Spindle,1883 and The Line of Best Fit which hailed RHEA “Solidifying herself as One To Watch” Dreams quickly racked up top Spotify playlists finding itself on “Fresh Finds” “The Best of Hiptronix” and “Women of Fresh Finds”

In The Night is even more hard-hitting and thumping, with RHEA’s distinctive vocals floating effortlessly over a dark and ethereal backdrop, conjuring moods of beautiful melancholy.

She began her musical journey in South London, growing up listening to Jazz, Motown and Soul, later moving to Spain and immersing herself in the bohemian culture and ever-thriving Jazz scene. After spending many moons writing on the beach, she felt ready to head back to London to release adventurous and compelling music.

RHEA experiments with different genres, fusing her ever distinctive vocals with bold and bassy beats creating a swirling sonic landscape. You can hear the trap, soul and electronic influences that cleverly intertwine to create a smoky but bold, soulful but hauntingly tinged experience for the listener.

Having already forged a strong fanbase in the US with her debut Dreams, In The Night continues to explore RHEA’s characteristic sound, keeping the atmospheric and moody tone that fans will associate with her. 

Speaking about In The Night RHEA says “This release is about when our deepest and darkest fears take a hold and swallow you up like the night itself – It’s about passion, love, being far away from someone, and that yearning to be close, it’s about being lost in the depths of our mind that seem so heightened and intensified “In The Night”.
