Laura White Unveils ‘Heartbreaker’ Featuring Ms Banks ahead of London Headline show

Following an exclusive first play on BBC 1Xtra from DJ Ace, Manchester born and raised singer-songwriter Laura White unveils her stunning new single ‘Heartbreaker’ featuring Ms Banks, out June 22nd via J.O.A.T and Universal Music Group.

‘Heartbreaker’ is a smooth slice of modern RnB featuring Laura’s stand out trademark vocal talents and South London Rapper Ms Banks. Produced by ProducerWez and Shakaveli from Naughty Boy’s camp ‘Heartbreaker’ references ‘Only You’ from 90’s RnB group 112, to create a brand new tune built for 2018.

A talented songwriter, Laura has written alongside world renowned producers Naughty Boy, Sigala, Example and Steve Booker as well as writing for the likes of Paloma Faith and Rudimental. Notably, Laura co-wrote Charles Hamilton’s Grammy nominated single ‘New York Raining’ featuring Rita Ora, as well as co-writing and featuring on the Top 20 hit ‘Love On Me’ with Galantis.

Speaking on the track, Laura says “Heartbreaker is one of my favourite tracks that I’ve written so far and collaborating with Ms Banks was amazing. Working alongside producers Wez and Shakaveli at Naughty Boy’s camp has been so much fun. They’re incredible producers, and the whole process was so organic! I can’t wait to perform it live at my upcoming gigs.”

Ms Banks began rapping aged just eleven, inspired by strong female MC’s such as Lil Kim, Ms Dynamite, Lisa Maffia and Foxy Brown. She’s come a long way since her playground bars, having collaborated with the likes of Stefflon Don, JME and Stormzy in the process, while finding her own raw, energetic sound.

Through her incredible vocal talents and infectious personality, Laura has built a legion of loyal fans and continues to stun audiences wherever she performs.

Fresh from performing at this years Great Escape festival, Laura has a busy summer ahead of her – with performances at Camden Assembly on June 22nd and Manchester’s Night and Day Cafe on June 27th. Laura continues to cement herself as a major breakthrough for 2018.
