On the heels of his critically acclaimed third studio album Ones To Keep Close, Upstate New York-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist The Bones of J.R. Jones (aka Jonathon Linaberry) shares his new video for “I See You” today with CMT. Directed by Tobias Nathan, the video was filmed in Brooklyn and illustrates the track’s gritty, energy-packed influence.
“The idea behind this video was all about just letting the music take over,” Linaberry comments. “We didn’t want to be overly serious or precious with the video. We just wanted the song to move people.”
Ones To Keep Close is an 11-track collection of stomp-along songs produced with Rob Niederpruem, further solidifying Linaberry’s moody blend of garage-influenced soul, blues, roots, and Americana. Highlighted by gritty guitar riffs and Linaberry’s soul-flecked vocals, The Bones of J.R. jones has garnered over 10 million streams across platforms.
Linaberry just wrapped up a national headlining tour and has select dates remaining in Salt Lake City and Telluride this fall. He will bring his kinetic live energy to Europe beginning October 11th. Tickets are available for purchase here!
