VICEROY RE-ENVISIONS HIS SOUND ON “CAUGHT ME A RHYTHM (FT. MARC E. BASSY)”

Regardless of what’s popular or trending, Viceroy has always delivered music true to himself. After a year of introspection on where to take his sound next, he’s linked up with fellow Bay Area native and friend Marc E. Bassy for a funky future-pop jam titled “Caught Me A Rhythm”. It’s the perfect introduction to Viceroy’s new sonic approach as it pairs insanely infectious production with Bassy’s sultry smooth vocals to match.

Viceroy’s most recent work, a 2017 collaboration with Tom Aspaul titled “Improvise”, quickly allotted over 2 million streams and was praised by Billboard for its “layers of funk and disco influences.” The single came on the heels of work with a wealth of talented artists ranging from Giraffage to Gavin Turek and K. Flay, not to mention frequent appearances at essential festivals like Electric Forest and Life Is Beautiful.

“Caught Me A Rhythm” is out now.
