Steel Banglez Drops New Track ‘Your Lovin’ Ft. Yxng Bane & MO

Steel Banglez continues to go from strength-to-strength. Firmly established as the go-to beatsmith for a who’s who of leading talent and winner of Producer of the Year at GRM Daily’s Rated AwardsSteel Banglez smashed into the charts in his own right with ‘Bad’ – a track that’s exceeded 40 million streams and was recently certified Silver.

Now Steel Banglez has dropped an ever bigger track in the shape of ‘Your Lovin’’ which features Mø and Yxng Bane. Backed by an insistent rhythmic pulse, the spacious, moody production allows the complementary yet contrasting interplay between the two featured vocals shine through. Vitally, however, its melodic leanings and immediately memorable hook also demonstrates Steel Banglez’s impeccable skills as a songwriting force.

“I made the beat when I was on Drake’s summer ’16 tour in America,” said Steel Banglez in an interview with The Fader“There was a tour bus with a studio on it. I had a euphoric moment after a show in Atlanta and I made this beat. I was just running around the tour bus like, ‘You don’t know what the fuck I’ve just made.’”

Steel Banglez’s discography reads like a checklist of hot names in the UK scene: MISTJ HusDaveMoStackWileyLoski, and Ghetts, to name but a few. He describes himself as something of a scientist, successfully forging elements of the UK’s musical history into a brand new sound.

Alhough he was born in Forest GateBanglez’s parents came to London after the 1984 attack on The Golden Temple, which meant it wasn’t safe for them to be in the state of Punjab. The roots of his music career emerged when he was still young. He had a slot at a local pirate radio station and became friends with the iconic British MC D Double E, who at the time was in N.A.S.T.Y Crew and would take Banglez to early Eskimo Dance events.
