RAINDEAR. The Swedish starlet is going from strength to strength in both her fairytale world and the real world.

Having already released a number of well-received singles, including ‘SKY’, ‘Diamonds In My Chest’ and ‘I’m The Ice’, the bohemian princess has racked up hundreds of thousands of plays on Spotify, frequenting a number of key Spotify playlists, including New Music FridaySunday Selects and the top 20 in the US Viral Top 50, as well as receiving continued praise from tastemakers and reaching top spots on Hype Machine.

RAINDEAR is creatively intuitive, refusing to settle in her own skin, writing and producing progressive sad, dramatic, turbulent songs that border on the badass and feminist.

RAINDEAR’s new single, ‘Coins’ begins with a dark, digital drum beat, like coins falling one by one to the wayside, before falsely romantic keys introduce RAINDEAR’s distinctive Eastern-inspired vocals. Listen here

It’s authentic, experimental melodic pop, as we see RAINDEAR following on from where she left off in the Spring, as she, quite frankly, gives a relationship her last efforts,

“The title word “coins” metaphorically stands for the last efforts you give to someone before you (not a day too soon) give them up completely. Just like when you pay your last coins to something, you don’t really care where they go anymore cause you’re so exhausted and broke and have zero fucks left to give.”

“It’s not a positive song, but at least it’s independent and filled with the realisation of an unsustainable situation.”

Surrounded by music from a young age, the fierce talent has always been destined for musical stardom. Now basing herself from a studio in Stockholm, RAINDEAR uses trippy sounds and bold beats to immerse herself in an exciting and arresting world of desperation and darkness that others would likely shy away from.
