We are great! We just got back from CMA Fest and had a blast performing and making new friends and fans in Nashville. We were busy with back to back gigs it was a great start to our summer tour.
Can you talk to us more about your latest single “Clear Country Sky”?
We wanted to write a song that everyone can relate to, we all are one and we all are living life, grinding and trying to make it happen under the same sky.
Did any event in particular inspired you to write this song?
There are so many direct inspirations behind this song, just watch the news. Regardless of what is going on in the world we all have one thing in common, we all live under that sky.
How was the filming process and experience behind the video?
My brothers and I are creative so we work to bring our fans into the experience. BubbyB is so clever, my brothers are always finding ways to raise the bar on the video experience and give our fans something new and fresh.
How was the recording and writing process?
Easy. We never struggle through our writing, it just comes naturally. We are brothers and are in sync with one another so it just flows. Recording, well this is the official second recording of this song. We have grown vocally as a group and we wanted to strip down the production a bit and let our fans experience our harmonies on a more intimate level.
What role does Nashville play in your writing?
We CMA Fest was our first time in Nashville, so be on the lookout for new songs inspired by this great city and the amazing people who celebrate music in “Music City”.
Does the new single mean we can expect a new material – how’s that coming along?
We are on a roll, we want to keep giving our fans new music so look out for new music every 6-8 weeks. We have been working hard in the studio to get that music out there.
Any tentative release date or title in mind?
Every 6-8 weeks so you can look for our next single “Indiana” around Mid July.
Any plans to hit the road?
Yes make sure to keep a watch on our tour dates, we keep adding more every week. If you want us to come to our town let us know and we will try to make that happen.
Having kill it in the CMA Fest – do you tend to take a different approach when you are performing at such a big stage rather than a small intimate one?
Not really. Acoustically we are obviously giving our fans a more intimate experience with our four part harmonies. We have been told our acoustic shows are just as progressive as our full band shows. No matter the venue, the audience we go out there and throw it down as if we are in a stadium. Every person who is sitting in our audiences deserves 100% effort from us so we deliver. We really appreciate all the fans.
What else is happening next in The Brothers Footman’s world?
Always new music, new videos and new tour dates. Why fix something that is not broken, we are just getting warmed up.
