BRUISE SHARE NEW VIDEO “SANDS OF TIME”

Today, Indiana hardcore newcomers Bruise are sharing a new track “Sands Of Time” and accompanying video via a premiere with No Echo. “Sands Of Time” is heavy hitting in both sound and lyrical content, as the song deals with depression and thoughts of suicide. The video ties into this theme, following one man’s struggle with the disease as the band plays. The track is taken from their debut full-length,Grief Ritual, which will be released August 31st via Unbeaten Records (Orthodox, Left Behind, Purgatory) which can be pre-ordered here.

Speaking about the single the band says:

“Grief Ritual takes influences from a very wide spectrum of sounds and brings them all together. We chose the track “Sands of Time” to premier because we feel like it evenly shows off all the sounds that Bruise takes pride in. Sands of Time speaks of themes of depression and thoughts of suicide, the lyrics basically creating a story of myself reaching out when I feel I’ve finally hit my limits. ‘A subtle gesture, a cry for help.’”

Bruise is a five piece hardcore band based out of small town Indiana. Since their debut in 2016, they have been relentlessly touring the US with no intent to slow down as they head out towards the west coast this summer. Following a string of EP’s, the band has pushed their sound to its ultimate form with the new LP, Grief Ritual. It’s no wonder a record this hateful and punishing is coming out on Unbeaten Records.
