‘Lafayette’ is Man Without Country’s latest 80’s influenced track and is set for release 13th June. Having previously worked with Norwegian producers Ralph Myerz and Crucial Things it’s fair to say that Welsh native vocalist and musician Ryan James, the man behind the music, is more than qualified to deliver this synth-heavy, electronic gem alongside a stunning new lyric video.
Previous single ‘Remember the Bad Things’ was the first release from his upcoming Infinity Mirror album and saw Man Without Country gain support from the likes of The Skinny, Baeble Music, Music Musings and Such, BBC Wales, Amazing Radio, and more.
James has also collaborated with multi-platinum selling Norwegian electronic music veterans Röyksopp. Their track ‘Sordid Affair’, featuring James’ hypnotic lead vocals was the first single taken from their 2014 studio album ‘The Inevitable End’, which debuted at number one in the iTunes electronic music chart.
Originally formed in 2007 as a duo alongside co-founder Tomas Greenhalf, Man Without Country released two studio albums via Cooperative Music, which allowed the band to tour all over Europe and the US, supporting the likes of M83, Alt-J, Warpaint and many others.
After a two-year dormancy, Ryan made a comeback at the end of last year with a digital, double A-sided single, aptly entitled ‘Lion Mind / Jaws of Life’, which received overwhelming support from Metro, Indie is Not a Genre, and It’s All Indie to name a few.
Now Ryan is ready to unveil his new single ‘Lafayette’, which will be out 13th June via Killing Moon Records.
