Finnish DJ and producer Alex Mattson has unveiled his brand new 4-track EP ‘Eleven’, which features previous release, ‘Complicated Love’, and vibrant new single ‘Flesh And Bone’, a melodic summer anthem steeped in Alex’s rich synth-focused electronica tones.

Noticed by legendary dance label Ultra Music, the home of global superstars such asdeadmau5, David Guetta, Steve Aoki, and Kygo, Alex was fast-tracked by the imprint, becoming the first ever Finnish solo artist to sign a deal with Ultra.

The release of ‘Eleven’ follows the arrival of Alex’s recent single ‘Complicated Love’, with the producer adding: “Discovery is a very special song for me, because I’ve been releasing a lot of pop twisted songs (which I absolutely love) but this time I wanted to release something that gives me the same feeling I had when listening to the first electronic tracks I got into before my career.”

Coupled with the melancholic and wistful nature of ‘Myself’ and the breezy bass-backed beats of ‘Complicated Love’, the 4-track EP serves as an aural embodiment of Alex’s diverse and dynamic production skills, with lead track ‘Flesh and Bone’ serving as the jewel in the crown of Mattson’s EP.

Amassing over 20 million Spotify streams in his career so far, Alex Mattson is best known for his debut production ‘UFO’ which has gained platinum status in Finland. A multi-talented and diverse producer, Mattson has also produced songs for other artists, including Reino Nordin‘s ‘Touch’ (produced together with  Leo Salminen) and ‘Free’ (produced together with Tido Nguyen).

Having started his musical career as a drummer, Alex Mattson began to study electronic music production in Amsterdam, graduating as a master of deep house and melodic beats. With the production set for release on 25th May, the quartet of tracks look set to catapult Alex Mattson into the limelight as one of this summer’s most in-demand names!
